Every brand has a reason for existing. Ours is a person and this is his story, in our own words.

How it started

Buoy4 is a famous fishing spot off of Atlantic Beach, Long Island. Buoy4 the brand started because of my brother Kevin.

Kevin was a mate on the No Time for 20 years — before his cancer came back and he had to have his leg amputated. He would no longer be able to work the decks of the No Time, so I wanted to do something that could keep him close to his fishing network. Kevin was one of our biggest and most loyal customers.

My partner Dave said, “let's donate a portion of every product we sell to the volunteers who go out and protect and clean the waters Kevin loved.” So every year, we donate to Operation SPLASH, working all over Nassau County and centralized in Freeport, NY.

Kevin passed away in 2017. Buoy4 has now become more of a creative way to communicate through our clothes — and use it to help the ones who are still fighting for life, or remember the ones who've gone too soon.
